Your flag will fly during the weekend of the five holidays listed below:
Memorial Day – Last Monday in May
Flag Day – June 14
Independence Day – July 4
Patriot’s Day – September 11
Veteran’s Day – November 11
We make every attempt to post the flags before and after the holidays. Safety to our scouts is paramount, so there may be a delay due to inclement weather.
We're currently only offering our flag subscription program in the Beau Chêne neighborhood. If your subdivision is interested, drop us a note on our contact page to be added to the list.
Our flags are self standing using a small piece of rebar which is removed when we retrieve your flag. Nothing is permanently installed into your lawn.
Your participation in our program will not automatically renew. We'll reach out to you either by email or postal mail with a renewal form each year.
While we make our best effort to post your flag on the prescribed weekend, sometimes the weather is not cooperative. Safety to our scouts and their families take precedence. We will make the attempt to reschedule. In rare cases we may have to skip the day.
Yes, you may cancel your annual subscription at any time. However, since this is our program's primary fundraiser, we cannot offer a refund for the remainder of your term.
No, we are providing the flag used for this service. More specifically, when you buy our service, you are really paying for a subscription to have our Scout Troop place a flag on your lawn on specified holidays. The troop retains ownership and upkeep responsibilities of the flags.
